A Great Salad

Hey people, I wanted to share with you what a good salad is. You want to give your BD a broad range of veggies and maybe a fruit or two. This is an example of what I offer my BD every day (minus the grapes, they are every 3 days):

Collard Greens
Kale
Butternut Squash (steamed works best)
Prickly Pear (de-thorned cactus cuts)
Miniature Petite Grapes

Like any green or vegetable. It is best to use variety. I have never used lambs lettuce and i would not hesitate to use it.

That's great thanks i have to be careful with the more common greens an lettuce in england ,as when he was small it caused stomach trouble now I ve read the nutritional guide I understand why ! The pics have really helped as they aren't called the same things here so I ve stood in stores with no luck and lots of fear
