Also a Beardie needs a minimum of 120 gallon tank as an adult to thrive and grow and be stress free. That means 4feet long, 2feet deep and 2geet high. Order on ZeNhabittats and amazing $34 padded matt substarte super safe and easy to clean
Hello, I am a little confused, you say that bearded dragons need at least 120 gallon tank but all of the pictures that you posted have been a lot smaller than that. Also I just wanted to add that they do not need a minimum of 120 gallon tank although I do highly suggest it.

My dragon is 8mnths old so it’s in a 40 gallon that’s the best minimum recommended size For Beardies under “12” months old; after 12months old it’s 120Gallon minimum for an adult dragon to move & thrive; otherwise he will have stunted growth & b stressed & depressed. I orderd a 120 gallon from ZenHabitats it’s only $329. If people are gonna be stingy about a cage then what else are we stinging on?? Also crickets & Dubias only under 1.5 yrs of age and after that u can add horn or superworms that’s it (Never Ever Mealworms) alongside the staple greens & veggies 2plates a Day always starting as babies. We rehome and rescue. Most people have no clue & use colored bulbs in the day and the night which is sickening. Colored Bulbs destroys their eyes & they need pure dark at nite when sleeping. The ZooMed basking bulb for heat alongside the UvB with calcium powder is what’s needed for All Beardies. The Reptisun 10.0 T5 UVB is the only one that’s best for true UVB for Beardies & needs to cover 70 prcnt of the tank. This UVB bulb needs replacing every 6mnths. U can kill a dragon; destroy his bones & he gets metabolic Bone disease!! Because of Ignorant people; it’s ❤️ Breaking. Worst part is people should Google Google Google & Read & Learn. Feeding kale, lettuce and/or spinach is a Big Noooo also. Sand as a Substarte is A Big No; it impacts them and destroys their tummy so does mealworms.

Hello. I’m new here. I was browsing and thought I may ask my question here. I’ve had my bearded dragon Sammy for almost 2 months. She is about 4 months old. When we first got her, she was not very active. Took her a few weeks to adjust. After adjusting, she started eating normally and running around her tank. Friday, my heat bulb went out while I was at work. The tank got to 80. I could not get to the store till after work. By evening she had stress marks and was laying flat on her rock. Got her bulb and by later that evening she was back to normal. But had only eaten 2 roaches that day. Saturday she was not active and only ate 2 roaches again. I offered her blueberry as she likes these and had before. She ate 3 tiny pieces as she had before. She also drank water that I offered. An hour later she vomited the blueberry and had diarrhea and looked like she was feeling terrible. I gave her time to settle and bathed her as she had the diarrhea on her. She went to bed as normal. Today she is still not active but not vomiting and had a normal stool but maybe with a little mucous. She’s not laying on her basking rock as usual and did not appear to want food. She moved around a few times throughout the day. I offered a calciworm at noon and she had one. But would not eat more. At 430 I offered roaches and still nothing. But she did eat 3 tiny pieces of collard greens. She’s just not herself and not eating her usual. Is all of this due to her lights being out? Does she need a couple days to get back to normal? I will mention after puttting her new bulb, I also put a new uvb bulb. She previously had one but it was the kind the pet store told us to get. This new one goes the length of her tank. I don’t know if maybe that change upset her? She is also shedding her tail. So maybe that could be a bit of an issue with not eating? I’m so new to this and I’ve read as much as I can but she has me so worried now. Any advice? Thank you!
Please get her to a qualified vet. Asap

**Update on Sammy. She is doing great now. She would not touch crickets after we introduced her to Dubias. So she’s only eaten those for 2 months along with her veggies. Then she quit eating after her heat lamp went out and I associated with that. Her tank was back to normal and optimal and she still wouldn’t eat or bask. But she would take blueberry. I thought she may be bored of her food and went out to get her crickets. She went to town on those things and spent the rest of the evening basking and looking great. Little stinker just wanted a new menu. She’s pooping normal, drinking as normal and running around again. Thank you all for the tips!
