    Possible brumation

    Nothings changed in the past months. He’s been doing well and all of a sudden a couple days ago he starts acting like this. Basking bulb is reptizoo and it’s 100W.

    It should be good. One of my concerns is that when the sun goes down at like dusk he comes out of his cave and goes to sleep on his hammock. Do you have any reason why he’s kinda hiding from the sun?

    1 1/2 year old bearded dragon. Starting a couple days ago he’s just been hiding in his cave and sitting/sleeping all day. He only comes out before night to sleep on his hammock. Could this be some sort of brumation or? Any help is appreciated thanks.

    Also, when I put him up close to my ear every little bit he like makes a sound like a small sneeze like sound or a trying to get air sound. No discharge. Honestly I am not sure if it is worth bringing him to the vet. It could just be high humidity levels. It is 60% right now and I am in Georgia...

    No discharge. Sometimes it sounds like he/she is heavily breathing or gasping for air. I have hygrometer. It is an analog and it shows 50-60% humidity. Will get a digital one soon.

    Also, he has been keeping his mouth open a lot of the time. Not sure why. He’s also been doing it while in his cool spot and in his “cave.”
