if you don't mind ,why not the colored bulb?it doesn't show blue,it just looks blue when not turned on.it's a 50 watt uv reptile bulb from zoo med.i don't agree with the bar lighting as there is no gradient with the uv.
can you believe that is a regular size cereal bowl and he is over 7 months...
blue 50 watt petco uv bulb.temp is good.i think he was impacted.he pooped a crystalized chunk that looked like human plasma.so, i started 30 minute warm baths and during bath gently massaging his abdomen toward cloaca every ten minutes.he is now much more active and seems to feel better.more...
kinda sleeps everywhere.probably more away from the basking spot.poops every few days.eats well.just sleeps alot.but, small as he is he is 7 months old so might be brumation.
uv is good and the pebbles are of a good size to big to eat.the others thrive on them.we did use other mediums but the seem to like rocks best.he has a lizard log for shelter and a small swimming dish.limbs to climb.about all he eats is crickets and mostly mealworms, but we offer him greens every...
today we got him a really nice 20 gallon with sealed vented lid.i am doing pebbles for the liner.he should thrive.i can't believe he is doing so well.my biggest concern is diet.he is 10 cm.but at 7 months old he should be on greens, but he eats like a hatchling.healthy, but uncharted.and he may...
thank you for your reply.i used to own a reptile breedery and i am shocked, but he is the healthiest beardie i have ever had.but, at 7 months he is the same size as he was at hatching.it's amazing.has anyone else heard of this.he is named after university of washington medicine.u.w. .this one is...
