    Hydration

Here's a couple of things for you. One is a YouTube link to something very cute. Nothing my beardie will do (she's too sedentary. LOL) Comments on the beardie and leash: First, what are you using for a leash? Are you using one of the ones that's made of "mini" paracord or one more...

    Hydration

Yeah, the needle is because the opening is much smaller than that of the syringe nipple. The smaller the size of needle (in diameter not length) the more control you will get on it. I'm not sure if this is a factor or not but the longer the needle, the farther the syringe is from your beardie...

    Bearded Dragon Diet Nutritional Information

I have to agree. I have not done a whole lot with beardies, but this has been a great guide. I've seen I think either this one of another one on I think what was the "original" "bearded dragon forum". I had been there off and on a few times and then couldn't find it. The one I did find was a bit...

    Hydration

I tried a small waterfall which from time to time Yindi would go and drink a bit from but also realized that it was not working because the humidity in the tank went ridiculously high. I have tried a small dish in the viv for her to drink from but nothing happens. Then I saw something, I think...

    Air heater

I don't know how accurate this is, but I was cautioned about using the heat pads underneath the viv (assuming it's a glass bottom as this could cause the glass to crack or break.

I think I'm starting to understand this. The Higher the "T" number is the lower the UV output? So you are saying that the Arcadia Pro T5 12% is the bulb I want so far as max UV output? So yes, the smaller number gives you more UVR. Here's a link that might help. It is a post from a business...

    Food and pickiness

Hi. Now I'm more confused. I guess I miss understood what you were saying. Somewhere I got the idea that the "T 5" specified the type of base. I thought that the Acadia Pro T5 12% is what you were recommending. Now I have ordered that online and am committed to a fairly decent sum of money...

    Food and pickiness

To clarify, the previous mvb was sitting on the frame that the screen was on and the edge of the tank. This was with NO screen. This is what gave her the uv-itis. 5.0. 10. 0 bulbs? Do I use this with or without the screen, and how far above the top of the tank for this? How often do these need...

Thanks for the reply. The bulb is an Exo Terra 125 watt mercury vapor bulb. That has also the screen on top of the viv which is cutting down the light a bit. . Right now the front of the bulb is about 14-15" above the screen and total to the marble tiles (rough side up) is ~32-33" My IR...

Juvenile bearded accidentally ate sick dubias and she's now sick!

Hope your beardie stays well. It may be too late now, but if you want to possibly help others who may be using the dubias for pet food, you may want to contact the place you got them from and give them a heads up about the mold. If they are responsible places they will appreciate you doing this...

    Food and pickiness

Hello all. My name is Nathan. I'm not new to bearded dragons as I have had one for somewhere around 4 or 5 years. (I've lost track) I'm finding it harder to get her to eat. The things that she will eat: carrot, red pepper, broccoli, and do so readily. However I see that these are only to be...
