    Thanks - we have the Reptisun 10.0 TB bulb in there. Hid enclosure looks surprisingly like your photo. He also has clear basking bulb during the day. We had a ceramic heater at night but it burned out so we put in spare red night heat bulb and now see that's bad so I just bought new 60w ceramic...

    WE used it for several months - didn't know any better. Now we have a ceramic heater and will change out the paper for cloth and see how he responds. Thank you.

    We use the straight tube Reptisun T5 for UVB 10.0 UVB bulb but we did have a red heat bulb at night because the ceramic heater burned out. Could this affect his eyes? We also changed the substrate to newspaper thinking the sand could be the culprit.

    Hey Josh, the vet couldn't actually determine the cause of the eye secretions. The eye drops were for a suspected infection. Ofloxacin Ophthalmic 0.3%. Used to be in one eye only, now happening in both.

    I need advice - my dragon gets eyes secrete a bunch of junk that dries and makes his eyes close shut. I have to run him under water every day until they open back up. The vet gave me eye drops a couple years ago but it still continues. Anyone else going through this? Any suggestions?

    Thanks - I've heard that too. We don't have the coil UVB and we got rid of everything but paper substrate. It continues.

    Hey all, my beardie has eye junk that dries and causes his eye to close. We have to soak him and soften it up to open his eye. It's always just the same one eye. We have drops from vet for his eye but they don't seem to help. Thoughts?

    Bathing

    My knucklehead sits in the sink and I let the warm water run over his back. Also, its a good place if your dragon appears constipated. The water helps. Not the funnest cleanup though.

    My beardie likes to eat large grasshoppers and crickets. When I feel he hasn't pooped in a while, I'll let him soak in warm water. While in the water, I take my hand an rub his underside where his little flap is located. I believe it stimulates the area because often he'll immediately poop...
