    We did get her a bright white 100w but I think it was far too hot for her as she wouldn’t sit under it. the tank she came with is only a 3ft one. the bulb we have now ( even though it’s red) Is only a 60w and she’s been sitting under it with her mouth gaping this eve.

    That’s a great idea - will do it tomorrow to make do until I buy the Arcadia one. Do you think the sleep/long basking tonight could just be down to the red bulb interrupting her sleep pattern?

    Think we will drop the cabbage anyway as she barely eats it. thanks for the links I’ll check them out. Seems like the uvb is in the correct position and not covered, just lacking a reflector I think.

    I’m in the UK too so I’m not sure when I can grab a temp probe thingy inexpensively. edit: we’ve turned off the red light and she’s fast asleep in the basking end with her head resting on a smooth pebble.

    Thanks for the reply. Will get a probe for testing temp as soon as I can afford to. We have a T8 UV bulb 10% which I just purchased. I’m just looking at reflectors for that too. Her diet is: daily: pea shoots Rocket Cabbage leaves Red pepper - she doesn’t really like it though Morrio worms /...
