    Oh haha I getcha. Nah, that's the feeding dish haha. What I meant was this thermometer uses 2 probes and one is in cool spot and one in basking ;)

    The probe is attached directly to the basking spot.. It's a wire that runs under the sand.

    After purchasing a 75 watt and 100 watt light from pet store, I went to Walmart and got a 90 watt halogen. The other two lights could only get to 90 and 98. After 4 hours i came down to check the temp, here are the basking spot and cool spot with a probe thermometer.

    Haha, the last few years, we rarely get snow. We just got snow for the first time Christmas Day. Which is Wierd because when growing up it snowed blizzards for months.

    Oh I thought the calculation was lxhxw/231 which gave me just over 50 gal haha, the tag said 50 gallon anyhow when I bought. I was just un aware of what a "breeder" cage is

    I believe it is.. Quite a bit above average age.. That's why I decided to join, I want to give her the best life possible.. Thinking sadly she could go at any time. I actually purchased her back in highschool in 2000, so I guess she's going on 13 lol
