I used newspaper for her tank and the vet didn't use either "constipated" or "impacted," but he did say there was just a big piece of poop rather than a potential foreign object. He did a check for eggs too and that came out negative. However there was no x-ray or anything...
I took my beardie to the vet yesterday and I was quite worried*, but the vet said she had constipation and was otherwise "in perfect health." I was so relieved. He sent us home with laxatives and said that if that doesn't work, I should take her back in in a week so they could force the poop...
My beardie is almost 6 years old and has been in great health. She's always pooped and peed at the same time, about once every few days. This week, she's started peeing up to twice a day, and every day. No poop.
I've been feeding and bathing her like normal and otherwise she appears fine...
So I have a cat who occasionally likes to sneak into my bearded dragon's tank or he can't do that, he'll sit on top of it or to the side of it.
He's been sick lately and awaiting a biopsy because the vet thinks he might have skin cancer. We still have to wait another week but I'm sooo worried...
