Hi, yes I found somewhere for him! He’s currently at a foster home with volunteers through Georgia Herpetological Association and Rescue, he will be available for adoption eventually once his quarantine is over if you are interested in getting him. There is another Mushu on their website not to...
I’m located in the Metro Atlanta area near Emory University. I had the idea of rehoming him for free but it might be the best idea to sell him since I want to make sure i’m giving him to someone willing to Incur the costs of taking care of him. What are you thinking?
Hello, I'm currently looking to rehome my bearded dragon Mushu. I got him in November 2024 as a rescue from my cousin because she hadn't been giving him the proper care. I've been taking care of him ever since and have made a special connection with him and had lots of fun and bonding time with...
Okay! I'll make sure to check on him every now and then to make sure he's all right and to keep my worries low haha. Being a new owner..everything worries me! His UVB I just bought December 1st so that's all good too, and he has a checkup next month as well.
For his lighting I have the zoomed t5 10.0 reptisun uvb 24", I had it mounted above the screen on his cage but today I put it inside because it was fine screen mesh. I have a 150w basking bulb and I've been reading temps that have been between 96-105f but only with a infrared temp gun-- i need...
Hi, I recently got my beardie (November 30th) from my cousin. He hadn't shown any signs of brumation when I first got him but I'd say within the last week or so he's been showing some signs, being in his hide more, sleeping more, not basking as much, not eating as much. At first, I thought he...
I've been measuring my 2-year-old beardies basking spot with a temp gun; sometimes the temperature gets up to 110. I use a 150-watt basking bulb about 12 inches from his basking spot. Is this temperature too hot? If so can I raise the bulb or do I need to get a lower-wattage one?
Okay. I am going to try and mount it inside then, should I use the current t5 fixture that I already have and mount it or do you have any other recommendations (preferably with links if you can)? Also how much vertical space should he have from him and the UVB once I mount it inside? I just...
I read that since I have the 10.0 bulb with the fixture with a reflection in it, it would be fine to just put it on top of the screen--is that not the case? Also when you say put it directly above the basking decor what do you mean, since my basking bulb is placed above the screen as well?
I recently got a 2-year-old beardie from my little cousin because she hadn't cared for him properly. I got him a new setup, I have a 40-gallon tank right now as I'm saving up for a 120 to get hopefully by January. I'm having some trouble when it's coming to my lighting setup because there's so...
