Beardie showing signs of brumation

Hi, I recently got my beardie (November 30th) from my cousin. He hadn't shown any signs of brumation when I first got him but I'd say within the last week or so he's been showing some signs, being in his hide more, sleeping more, not basking as much, not eating as much. At first, I thought he might be impacted so I checked his stomach but I didn't feel any hard spots so I'm assuming it must be brumation. Is it a bit too late to start brumation for him, or should I go ahead and let him brumate? If so, what should I do? Can I keep offering him veggies/bugs, less light during the day or no light, etc.?

First lets go over the lighting and surface basking temps - sometimes this behavior can simulate brumation - impaction would not cause this behavior as well - so UVB brand and bulb coil or long tube fixture and placement of it-- how old is the bulb? Surface basking temps what are they and how are you getting them? NO stick ons please - once we rule out these things then we can assume it is him slowing down which is normal this time of year and no its not to late for them to be doing this - it is normal for them to not eat as much - you can leave the lights on for shorter periods of the day or if hes in full brumation meaning he is zonked out in his cave / hide then you can leave the lights off - you do want to check on him tho every so often -

For his lighting I have the zoomed t5 10.0 reptisun uvb 24", I had it mounted above the screen on his cage but today I put it inside because it was fine screen mesh. I have a 150w basking bulb and I've been reading temps that have been between 96-105f but only with a infrared temp gun-- i need to get a probe thermometer, and then I have 2 digital thermometer/humidity gauges on either side of his tank to measure the air temps which are usually around low 70s on his cool side and 85-89f on his warm side. Another thing I was worried about is that he hasn't pooped in close to 2 weeks when he was pooping normally before..I'm assuming hopefully that's because he's starting to slow down even though he's still been eating his salads (mostly) and I gave him some bugs on Tuesday. Because of that should I try to stimulate poops from him so that he if he does go into full brumation, hes not doing it on a full stomach.

Make sure his basking decor is directly under the UVB approx 12-15 inches - no hes fine he will go poop when hes ready - so everything sounds good and yes hes doing what the rest are doing - its normal for them not to poop for weeks at a time - mine go 3-4 weeks -- keep him hydrated and when he comes out offer him food -- make sure the UVB bulb is not over 10-11 months --

Okay! I'll make sure to check on him every now and then to make sure he's all right and to keep my worries low haha. Being a new owner..everything worries me! His UVB I just bought December 1st so that's all good too, and he has a checkup next month as well.
