    you dont think the 10.0 is over doing it? I know the rays reach down about 18 inches into the tank and he normally sit about 7 or 6 inches from the current light on his perch. You dont think it'll cause eye problems? Oh and thanks for the link c:

    Great I also saw that the basking light might be too bright for him. I have a dimmer on it so I might try that too if it persists.

    Well just today. I didnt notice it yesterday. He does it right underneath his basking spot. Im really concerned because in chameleons its not normal behavior...im sure it isnt with dragons either :c He'll close them and bask but if I walk by, make a noise, call his name,ect he'll open them again.
