It HAS to be the silkworms and from what Ive read in other threads the squashh too.
I feed my chameleon pedro silkworms to help keep him hydrated and his poop is always really watery after and his urates too.
Also I forgot where i read this but you should be careful with silkworms because they...
still the aggressiveness...
its what really worries me.
I dont know what happened to him but I dont want to raise a BD that hates my guts and not be able
to fix it because I dont know why he hates my guts.
Well Ive been feeding him crickets mostly and some green, kiwi, and butternut squash.
But I just started him on salads yesterday so that couldnt be it.
Also this morning his poop was green ish and loose again. No the brown it use to be, maybe it was the kiwi from last night?
But im not sure he...
He loves to drink!
And his urates are always white c:
which is great.
But his poop was soggy :c If he does is again Ill take a bit of it to the vet and see.
Im scared now cuz I googled it and some of the case were coccidea.
And Im sure the nails scared him and he bit me cuz he went to run from...
Ive had him for about a week or a week in a half now.
I would say hes around 3 months old? maybe older.
I havent ran a fecal yet but im really considering it.
Hes normally so calm with me and doesnt try to run or anything.
Today I saw kiwis poop and is was really soggy looking with a puddle of liquid around it.
Im really worried. His urates were white and runny as well.
Also today he bit me :c
call me stupid but it actually heart my feelings (not my finger lol)
Hes been acting skitish and has never bit me till...
you dont think the 10.0 is over doing it?
I know the rays reach down about 18 inches into the tank
and he normally sit about 7 or 6 inches from the current light on his perch.
You dont think it'll cause eye problems?
Oh and thanks for the link c:
I was thinking of using that too.
The tile sounds great c:
The crix wouldnt be able to hide anymore.
I gotta do a clean up day tomorrow or tonight and Im scared what im gonna find underneath the paper :x
its a reptiglo 5.0.
Ive been warned about the 10.0s!
Thank god.
Because Ive been thinking im gonna switch to a 10 reptisun soon though.
Prolly next pay day.
Though he spends alot of time on his perch (6inches away from uvb)
I feel like a 10.0 might be better so itll reach all the way down into...
Really?
When I pick him up his tummy have no curvage when you look down on him.
I was reading some where on this forum and it some one was talking about another dragon and said that was skinny.
Well no matter hes been eating like a pig lately c:
He jumps off his perch and runs over to where Iam...
well its was just something I read on here. The bulb isnt bright at all but I thought since hes smaller it might be a bigger deal?
Heres a pic of him.
He looks so skinny :c
I wanna fatten him up.
Hes been eating a bit so thats good.
Well just today.
I didnt notice it yesterday.
He does it right underneath his basking spot.
Im really concerned because in chameleons its not normal behavior...im sure it isnt with dragons either :c
He'll close them and bask but if I walk by, make a noise, call his name, ect he'll open them again.
