Hey all i have a 4ft long viv for my beardie just bouught a 4ft UV light that just fits in my viv but am i right in saying there needs to be an area without UV coverage so he decide if he wants to be out of it or not?

Thanks :) i know think i just worried myself by reading and this morning when he yawned there was a tiny bit of mucus like 1 luttle strand of saliva but i guess thats normal? Hes still eating moving around so think im just worrying haha better safe than sorry

I agree with everything Eavalyn has said as she has helped me alot with great info. But i will say about the viv being too big to not worry about as my little one was in a 4ft viv and he would climb on his cactus and stay there alot but i think that was just relocation stress as he did this for...
Okay I will do but are the amounts I'm using okay 5 times a week (weekdays) with calcium and 2 times a week (weekends) with multivitamins. And I have noticed he doesn't bask in his UV area as much.

The calcium I have says contains D3 and I dust every morning feed mon-fri and multivitamins sat and Sunday. Is this okay he is only about 2 months old?

Thanks well I will do again in a couple of days I blitzed it completely last night hoovered all corners and wiped all corners then nuked with callingtons. And gave him a good soak checked him this morning the ones on him seemed to be clearing up.

Thanks mate and funnily enough he eats his veg straight after I have fed him locusts and won't eat anymore he goes straight to his veg and munches his kale and squash haha
