I know how you feel. Went through the same with my girl. Keep trying with the digging box and if you can get one in her viv as well if you have space. As our little one was still a juvenile she was never able to form the eggs and the only option was to spay her. The best lay box i found was a...
Haha they are going to love me there! Been there every month lol. Shes just over a year as were not sure of her exact age atm. Im hoping thats the case thinking of trying a powerade bath to get some electrolites in her.
Has anyone had a beardie that has had to be spayed before? Im starting to worry yet again as ive not had a lot of luck from day 1 with mine. She was spayed a little while ago but before the op and now after the op she just isn't behaving normally. She will eat salad maybe once a week and that's...
A few are lovely and always ask if she's ok as they know i see her like my little girl (sad but true, the OH doesn't want kids yet) but we finally got her to eat. Only 2 small Dubias but its a start. And she's stop flipping out when we give her antibiotics :)
Little one is a bit perkier. Still can't get her to eat so will give it a few more days then might have to resort to giving her baby food with a syringe. Worst part is if i hear from any more work colleagues that i should "get a refund cause i was sold a faulty beardie" i may flip!
Ive tried to keep the viv looking as normal as possible as the last thing we need is moving stress! Is there any easy way of getting antibiotics in her as for the first time ever, she tried nipping my other half when he was giving them to her this morning (he now refuses to try it again lol)...
So its wasn't going to happen at first but today my little Butter had to be spayed as her eggs weren't forming as she was too young. (Dont worry i never tried breeding her, shes just was acting older then she is!) Anyway she's home now and still very groggy. Only thing im worried about is i cant...
As far as im aware they are called "stress marks" although that doesn't mean that he is stressed. They come and go. My little one has them sometimes when she sleeps, sometimes when she's cold sometimes for no reason at all. What are you temps/set up like? How's his general attitude?
Im definitely driving us both crazy. Its our first ever reptile together so any little change and im running around screaming she needs a vet haha. Its almost like she knew i posted this, as soon as i was back from work noticed a nice flappy bit of dry skin on the top of her head so its finally...
We had tried raising the humidity in the viv by leaving a bowl of clean water in the viv, even over night but noticed she was sleeping with her mouth open a little which was apparently caused by it being too humid? Or was this just a lot of nonsense and was she just in a deep sleep? (I think im...
Just noticed over the past week Butter's body has been getting darker right from the top of her head right down her back and is now on her belly. Its almost translucent looking but just curious as to why its taking so long to come off? Def been about a week since we noticed it and been giving...
Her general behaviour is pretty good. She's still pretty new to us so has her moment's. she's a little minx who hates going to the bathroom in the viv so will go anywhere else given the chance...like my bed. She's also mid shed all long her back and the top of her head so a little grumpy. Has...
I know it is near impossible to get a definitive answer about what is the right set up to have, but ive managed to confuse myself completely now.
Our little one is in a a Viv which is roughly a 3x2x2 (im aware its a bit small. She's about 14 inches and 8-9months old. unfortunately through some...
