    Non-stop glass hopping

Ah you’re so right! Poppy loves to be put on top of the couch next to the window with the sun shining right on him. He stays there at least 2 hrs a day, very content not moving much. I put him back when he jumps off. But as soon as he’s in the tank he’s back to circling around going after his...

Ok, I see that as well. Does that explain the constant hopping on the glass and chasing her reflections? Spring heat?

Thank you Sadie. I’d appreciate it. The vet said it’s a boy though but I am clueless. If it’s a girl shouldn’t she already have a monthly thing going now (2 yo)? Cynthia

Changing Poppy to a new tank

Only thing is that she doesn’t like to stay at the basking spot much so I’m not sure how she digests food. She did explore the new tank for a little bit today and then go back to hide.

Changing Poppy to a new tank

She actually is awake looking out. This morning her head was completely out. Should I get her to the basking spot and weigh her?

Changing Poppy to a new tank

Great. She can’t get out and we don’t have cats. Is it safe to give her a bath if she’s brumating? I’ve no idea how long it’d last. Worried about dehydration. Poppy doesn’t usually drink from her water bowl nor during bath. She gets her water from eating her vegetables or when I drip water on...

Changing Poppy to a new tank

The cover of the old tank is hinged on the long dimension which is much easier to get her in and out of the tank, but it is too short for the new tank leaving a small opening (Zilla screen cover). Is it bad to have an opening on top of the tank?
