    Sand as subtrate.

Not trying to be harsh, but this thread is expired… "buried not married", above- auto correct is too funny

    Sand as subtrate.

This was an old discussion gone bad and you just dug it up. "WTF" is still cursing BTW, and this is still a very informative and helpful site. Everyone has married the hatchet so can we please move on? Thank you!

    Banana for BD

Fresh is way better than canned or frozen. Organic Fresh is the best.

    Beardie refusing food

Check your timers on your lights, I just messed up big time for the last 4 days. Aries wasn't eating that good and I woke up around 5 am to find Aries' lights on (they normally come on at 9:30am). I must have hit the little tabs on the timer one day. His appetite decreased dramatically in the...

    A Great Salad

Hey people, I wanted to share with you what a good salad is. You want to give your BD a broad range of veggies and maybe a fruit or two. This is an example of what I offer my BD every day (minus the grapes, they are every 3 days): Collard Greens Kale Butternut Squash (steamed works best)...

    Operation: Tropic Thunder

Well thanks. I encourage you to look into my other threads as well.

    My new beardie

I would use tweezer, squeeze their heads (crushing it) and lay them in front of my BD. I would only leave them there for an hour and only in his basking area so they were still warm. This worked for me during Aries' stubborn period when he wasn't eating good (shedding usually). But when you get...

    Beardie refusing food

Take the water bowl out. This is causing his temps to drop when your BD is soaking and could be causing digestion problems. Try this first. What kind of substrate are you using? How old is you UVB? What brand of UVB? I would also take his next stool to a Vet for a stool test when he poops next.

    Behavior question

He might have been cold…. look at the picture and you can see he is doing it in the direction of the light coming in from the blinds to the floor. How long does he stay out? What are you house temps? What are your enclosure temps?

    A Zombie Moment

This one was at the coffee shop where we went to get our make-up on. We hit the Biker Bar, This place called the Cadillac Ranch (12 upside down buried Cadillacs) and another sports bar. Everyone loved it…. Almost done with makeup in this picture. Not enough blood yet, LOL.

    A Zombie Moment

This is a pic of Me, My Wife, Brother In-Law and some friends. We did a Zombie photo shoot with about 30 other Zombies yesterday. Hope you all enjoy. I'm the Zombie in the Army pants...

    My new beardie

I wouldn't feed the mealworms as a staple. When my BD started being stubborn with the crix, I would crush the crix heads (like 2-3 at a time) and lay them in front of my BD as an offering so to speak. Try ripping off the legs too. Your BD could be just being picky. But try the head smashing...
