I keep thinking that intermittently too. Often he starts shedding within a few days, and stays pretty chill throughout that time - but sure likes to cuddle, then he is back to being more active and I am wondering why I was so worried. When he first came I kept a journal of what exactly he ate (when), when he eliminated, everything. Then I realized I'd quickly go insane and become even more anxious/neurotic about his health if I tried to keep it up. Now I record weekly weight, and also make note of any concerns or changes as they come up. I figure it is kinda like having a baby - I fed him every 3 hours at first - I certainly did not journal everything with my babies beyond their first few days/weeks, nor did I with our cat who lived to be 22 - and never was treated for the asthma one vet mentioned when she was about 5, so I'm not gonna do it with the scaled one.
