Thanks everyone. He was beautiful. It sucks looking at his empty cage.. Hopefully I'll be able to get rid of it soon though, it just makes me sad to see it without Draco in it. All I can think about is the way he looked when I knew he was about to die, maybe once the tank is gone I'll be able to...
I have no idea what happened... I knew there was something really wrong 2 nights ago then yesterday morning he died. His symptoms seemed to pop up out of nowhere and by the time I noticed them it was too late...
Are there any worms that can be fed as a staple? I currently use crickets as a staple and I also feed phoenix worms every now and then but I would like to go to exclusively feeding worms (much easier than crickets).
I just ordered phoenix worms for the first time. I want to give Draco a variety... I have no knowledge about them though other than the dietary sheet says they are very good for bearded dragons.
Do I dust them? How do I store them?
Oh he's pretty photogenic =) Except for the femoral pores picture... I still have scratch marks all over my hands for that one!
This is him on a normal day.
I noticed them for the first time a couple days ago. I'm assuming they're normal but I've never seen them before so either I haven't paid attention or they are not normal at all!
Draco really hasn't eaten in about 3 weeks. He has had MAYBE 15 crickets total and hasn't touched his greens. He's been laying in the same spot without moving for 4 days now. He doesn't appear to be losing any weight and his lights are on the same 12 hour schedule as always. He has his eyes...
Draco hadn't pooped in about a week and he finally did during a warm soak... I saw this on his urate and am wondering if it is normal.
Also, he hasn't been eating crickets much lately. He'll skip some days now and just lounge around. He is still pretty active when I take him out.
He doesn't look like he's in shed. I just gave him a warm soak and he pooped. Now he's basking. It actually hit me that it could be the time change. I reset his timers to go off at the same time as before but maybe he's not used to it yet.. He always knew when his lights were about to go...
Draco is 7 months old, the past couple of days he's been "sleeping" a lot. He's still eating his crickets and I took him out for a little while today and he zoomed all around but when I put him back in his enclosure he went to his favorite laying spot and fell asleep and has been asleep ever...
