My BD Fandango is 4 months and three weeks old h/she is 22cm (9.4 inches) long nose to tail and 24g. And just stoped eatting I now feed him by hand (force feed) as I dont want h/her to become dehydrated. The temps are as follows cold side 89f hot side between 102 & 105F, I had h/her at the vet on Monday and had a poo sample tested and no parasites were found the vet de-wormed h/her and gave an antibiotic just incase they missed something. But it's now two weeks now and h/she is still not eatting byh/herself.

What are you using to take your temps?
What UV light do you have?
When was the last time he pooped.

Hi

I have a repti-zoo digital thermometer one on the cool side and one on the hot side.
UVB is a repti zoo 5.0 tube light.
H/she poos every day sametimes twice a day.

Pooping daily is great. I'd up the UV light to a ReptiSun 10.0. Bearded dragons need a lot of UV to thrive in captivity. Currently, the 10.0 ReptiSun produces the highest amount for dragons.

Thanks I'll go get one. But will go to a differant reptile shop as the one a got the UVB from said the 5.0 will be fine.

It really is sad and frustrating how frequently we see reptile/pet stores giving bad info to people regarding bearded dragon care. I know that I have been a victim myself.

Also since he is on an antibiotic a probiotic is a good thing to give. Helps restore the good bacteria that the antibiotic takes away. Benebac is a good one.
