I noticed today that there are tonnes of dandelions infront of the building I work at. I'm not sure if the area has ever been sprayed with any weedkiller is my problem. There's daffodils growing beside them so I don't think there is weed killer but what do you guys think, would you chance it. When I googled it this was the result I found: "If weed killer was still present in the soil, you would not be able to grow anything. This is why most weed killers are designed to evaporate within 24 to 78 hours. This means that for the most part, it is safe to plant anything, edible or non-edible, in a place where you have sprayed weed killer after three days". Thanks in advance for your help

Personally I wouldnt chance it. I have fed dandelions from our backyard because we dont use any weed killers nor does our neighbor. If you do backyard dandelions, please check them carefully for bugs esp bees before giving them to your dragon. Bee stings can kill them, and outside bugs are not safe because they travel all over and can be a source of pests or pesticides.

It very overgrown compared to the rest of the gardens so I don't think they'd spray it cuz it would kill the flowers but I think I might leave it just to be safe. Thanks very much for your response.

I don’t think I would chance it either.
Dandelion grown really fast. I wonder if you wait til those go to seed (get puffy) and collect the seeds, and grow some in a flower pot at home if that would be ok.
