Alright, good! I was worried. He and my dog were hanging out on my bed for a while (teacup poodle, well trained, harmless), and I was worried that he might've been scared and stressed or something.

Nope. Makes sense. As Brian said, he is regulating his body heat. If you had him out for some time, he needs to warm up.
