Why is he doing this

Manny my juvie beardie is acting really funny. He keeps moving back and forth against the front of his tank with his nose pressed against it. I tried picking him up and moving him to a different spot but he squirms out my hand to resume the behavior. I looked it up but I didnt feel like what he was doing matched with glass surfing.
Every five or ten minutes he'll stop, but then RUSH all the way across his enclosure to keep doing it. Like he gets some random urge to do it. There are no other animals in the room. Oop now he's looking at me lol

For some reason I cant post the video but he moves from the corner of the tank, scratches at it, then down through his red food bowl to the other corner and repeat. Also, now he's scratching with one arm in the corner.

Normal glass surfing all of ours do it and especially during the spring and summer months as they are wanting to find mates.. Some do the surfing soo much they rub their noses raw.. I suggest taking him out and giving him some exercise time to run around

If you have a safe place to let him run around, sounds like he could use some exercise time! Or he needs to poo - mine has a poop dance he does that's similar to what you are describing. You could let him run around on the bath if he likes bathtime!

Ok thank you at least its normal[emoji23] I take him outside everyday but today I didnt have time to maybe thats why.
