why does he do this

my bearded dragon looks at me and runs up down the viv when he wants out. and climbs on my arm every time I open the door. When he comes he then licks me when he can then go to sleep on under my neck or shoulder. I have problems getting him back to the viv . he don't seem to want to leave me why does he do this. The people who had him before do not treat him well, and did spend much time with him

That's great news that he wants to interact with you! Especially if he wasn't treated well it can be alot to gain their trust. The licking helps them learn where/what they are. He want's to be out of his viv well because it's out and with you and way better than being in his home
