I finally was able to get her out and she was fine so I tired the uvb light on its side so it would shine on her and I put my hand in front of her and she started hissing at my hand again.
I've heard that having the UVB on the side of the tank hurts their eyes. They have those little ridges over their eyes that protect them from having the light shine directly in their eyes.
