My male BD is around 3 years old now and seems quite happy. He will be alert when we are near his viv. Sometimes even come down from his cork tree bark and say hi. But recently he has been looking rather pale all over his body and other times he has been going rather black around his beard. Any suggestions on the cause of this would be appreciated.

Thanks. We've noticed he's gone a little grumpy the past couple days. Have now put a branch into his viv with lots of stiff twigs on it. Should help him brush off any loose scales (if ya call it scales lol)
So is this why he's hiding a lot too?

Yeh maybe make sure u give regular baths while shedding as u can imagine it must b very itchy n uncomfy so lots of baths. U can stroke the loose skin softly with a towel bit dnt peel it off. He may also go off his food aswel.
