With apologies to PatsyB.

You have the option of choosing up to three different answers!
I'm trying to cover all bases ; ).

I unfortunately suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder otherwise known as OCD. It is also known as the "doubting disease." That's why you will see some people wash their hands over and over. Or someone will keep checking if their door is locked, or the gas is turned off. In our brains, there is always that doubt if you did enough, or are you absolutely sure. It can be very debilitating : ( .

Well, I have a much greater fear than the normal population of hurting my Beardie.

So the obvious question is if you have a doubting disease, what's going to make you change your mind one way or another by this poll?

That's a legitimate question. But since I am on Medication for this disorder, and if I see a preponderance of answers going one way with enough anecdotal evidence (if possible in a poll) I'm almost 100% sure that will be enough to convince me either way.

My OCD is under control due to medication but sometimes there is something called "Break through" where the stressors are so high, the medication becomes ineffective.

I do not think that will be the case at all in this poll.

Thanks you all for putting up with me in this particular instance!.

If you look to the right of the question mark, the actual question is there. It's a poll. The question states:

"I have heard by actual Bearded Dragon Owners that Superworms can eat through their Stomachs!"
Then there are six choices to chose from if you so desire.

I hope I have helped you. Dr. Larry

What actually happens with this is that a dragon dies and the superworms that arent eaten will come to feed on the carcass. Enter dragon keeper who sees a superworm in among the guts (the softest part and easiest to digest, so they get consumed first usually) and they assume that the superworm 'ate its way out'. However, not true and not a concern. In fact, the 'solution' of chopping off their heads is actually more problematic. The stomach acid of superworms is incredibly strong and can irritate the sensitive lining of the mouth and throat of the dragon on the way down. You'll notice when you cut off the head, it all comes bubbling up. Not a good 'solution' after all.

I must apologize to you jarich, but I am just seeing this for the first time (August 10th).

I have to say that after five years, I have finally heard an explanation that dispels this myth.

Seems similar to many people who say that their Grandmother fell and broke their hip but actually fell because of a weakened bone that broke, causing the fall.

Had I heard this, there would have been no need for a pole, OCD or not ha, ha.

Thank you!
