What watt do i need for a 40 gallon tank?

Hello, I just got a baby bearded dragon last week and upgraded to a 40 gallon. The light bulb i have now is not heating up to temperature. What watt is safe for my bearded dragon but can also get the tank up to temp?

Clear bright white basking bulb start w/ 100 watt for surface basking temps taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- you want temps 100-110 no hotter
