Are you asking is he/she is a microscale vs Italian leatherback? Or are you asking about the color phase?

I've tried searching online but any pic I find that looks like mine there is no ID or description lol to my best guess it looks like a citrus tiger leatherback but it has changed color after every shed ! Lol so I'm having issues figuring out what morph or phase it is , looks male to me , I have no info as it was a rescue so anyone's guess is as good if not better than mine !! I'm just curious if anyone with exp in knowing morphs as young , since they change some and in some cases a lot lol as they grow !!

Ok well morphs and color is not the same thing so that may have thrown people off on what you wanted to know.
Morphs are hypo, translucent, leather back and such like that. Its a genetic mutation that has been passed down to the next generation.
Color is just that color. These are sometimes called phases. You typically have normal yellow, red, Orange, white and normal. Now breeders can and will name colors and combinations there of they produce for marketing. This is where you get tangerine, citrus, sandfire, blood red... ect. But thats just marketing names used in the industry and one color can be called different names or multiple colors called one. This can make things really confusing but since there is no rules for that its a free market.

Now your Dragon is definitely a leatherback and from what I can see its a microscale. That seems to be the only morph I can see. He/she is not hypo, translucent, etc. That dont mean he/she cant be het for those though as they would not be apparent. Het simply means that it carries the geans to produce those traits but does not physically show them. As for color he/she looks like he/she has a disposition towards the Orange phase. Its hard to tell at this age what the quality of this is and without knowing the parentage it would be almost impossible to predict the outcome. If the color phase is strong as he or she sheds you will see more or the color coming though.

I hope that helps you some in what you where wanting to know.

No not really lol it just confirms everything I knew already lol !! Thank you very much though for the info as it may help others to further guess on it's genetic potential !!! I really wish the person I rescued him from had more info , but would I really trust the info if the person was not even able to feed him ?!! Prob not !!!
