What can we do to prevent yellow fungus?

Fortunately I haven't had to deal with this but I've been doing some research on bd illness since Draco had an issue the other day and I'm pretty clueless as to what can go wrong with a beardie including diseases et.
Upon my research I came across yellow fungus..it sounds like a common and horrible fungal infection that is difficult to cure. What causes it and where do they contract it from? Is it something they pick up from the enclosure/home/bath water? or is it something they pick up from another dragon? What can we do as BD care providers to keep them protected from such a thing? Being a farmer and having spent thousands of dollars in vet bills over the many years I've had numerous pets I've learned a very important lesson - prevention is key. I know we can't prevent everything that happens to our pets but its sure worth a try!... Yet, most articles googled discuss treatment not contraction and prevention. Where does it come from and what can we do to prevent yellow fungus? Or any other fungus/bacterial infection?

Hi, typically poor husbandry, unsanitary conditions + moisture is the cause.
They can also pick it up from another animal that has it.
As long as you are giving proper care you have nothing to worry about.

Proper temps and "NO" water bowls with water in enclosure usually help prevent this. After baths, I usually pat dry my D before going back into his enclosure. Speaking of which, never bathe your BD in his enclosure. I would invest in a hydrometer to check for moisture everyday. Petco has them for about $5 (Hydrometer) and they have both hydrometer and thermometer with color coated scales on desert safe conditions. for a bit more.
