I'm pretty new to being a breaded dragon owner really. I was given my first breaded dragon (her name is Chalupa) I would say 2 years ago? She was from an owner who couldn't take care of her anymore, and when I got her she was about 2 years old? Regardless tho, I did my best to research what she needed as a beardie. I gave her plenty of veggies, fruits, and superworms in the beginning. I also tried giving her baths weekly, but she didn't like it and I didn't ever get the hang of it. I'll get onto that later, but right now, I feel she's in critical health and I don't know how exactly to help. I'm worried because I can't tell what's wrong really? Like, she's currently going through brumation mostly because it's very cold where I live and it's been that way for the past 2-3 months. But because of that, I haven't seen her poop at all for awhile now. I tried giving her blueberries, but she isn't eating them. I tried giving her veggies of course too, but days go by where she doesn't eat anything.

Another issue I'm realizing (now that I took her out fully) is that she's still shedding and was currently shedding before the brumation. So I feel because she was shedding before then and didn't finish, she may possibly have stuck shed, but I don't know that to be true because I don't know what stuck shed looks like considering it varies from beardie to beardie. But in that case, I don't know how to exactly help with stuck shed either. I saw some videos where you can pick it off with pliers, but I'm afraid I may hurt her. I saw others where you let the beardie soak in warm water to loosen the shed, and of course I'll try that because I don't want her to possibly be dirty just because I'm afraid of being intrusive, and I don't want that possible stuck shed to be there.

But the whole reason I make this post is to ask for y'all's evaluation on the situation. Like, can you tell me if there's anything wrong that you can see from her? Can you tell me how I can help her or point me into the right direction with links, videos, or articles? Can you suggest to me what I can do to prevent this from happening next time around? Is she going to be ok?

I also want to show if the enclosure she's in is best suited for her. I didn't pick out this enclosure, it came with her and one of the bulbs went out. Of course I'll look into getting her a new replacement bulb, and additionally what kind of bulbs do I require specficially for her?

I added images of her, as well as what the enclosure looks like. Sorry for the mess within it, I hadn't gotten around to cleaning due to the snow over here (I usually take the mat out and wash it outside). But that's really no excuse, I do have a bathtub that I can wash it in, and I'll definitely do that today considering she was relatively fine when I moved her out of the enclosure for a bit just to really see her.

I recommend you switch out the dual light fixture for a tube-type UVB light (Repitsun 10.0 or an Arcadia 12-14%), they give off more UVB and are safer to use. Compact bulbs can lead to MBD and eye issues. As long as she hasn't been eating, not pooping during brumation isn't an issue. You can encourage her to bask for a few hours so she digests whatever food might still be in her. You can bathe her regularly duing brumation. Some beardies wake up for the bath and others sleep through it, but make sure you keep her head above the water.

Ok so the first thing is the two most important things in the tank are the basking temps and the UVB --- if she is sleeping all the time now it could be brumation but from looking at the tank its not properly equipped --- please get a basking bulb that keeps temps 95-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO STICKONS- they are inaccurate --- you need a UVB that is a long tube fixture --- like this https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-t5-ho-terrarium-hood.html 24" fixture comes w/ a 5.0 bulb hang on to it for a back up distance for this bulb and the bulb I want you to get is the placement and distance - please order this https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-10.0-uvb-t5.html 22"
this place is good and fast and I am thinking your dragon is imitating brumation because of the incorrect temps and UVB -- these two things control the behavior and overall health of your dragon
Please get this replaced ASAP -- they wont live long w/ out it - and will become really sick ---
The enclosure is too small for her I would recommend getting her into a 75-120 gallon tank - or a 4x2x2 tank - but first I want you to get the lighting fixed -- this is crucial
After you get the UVB please let me know I will help you get it set up in your tank

Please do not pick any shed off --- let it come off on its own you can mist or bath to help get it off - you can also use a soft baby toothbrush and gently brush it loose but please NO pliers---- you can damage the scales and cause infection---------- also no colored bulbs and you want a bright white basking bulb

I'm extremely sorry for the late reply, I'm still currently trying to get her tube bulbs, and as soon as I get them, I'll start working towards getting her a bigger tank. I'm so very sorry, and I really just want to say thank you so very much for all the help and advice!!! I appreciate it more than anything, and I really value your time and advice as well as consideration into this issue!!! Thank for you sending me the links, they really helped me and I am once again sorry for everything. Also, I appericate your advice on the any shed related problems!!! I haven't at all tried picking off the skin cuz I know it's bad for them, and I'll once again try bathing her in warm water to see if anything is still stuck. From looking at the images of her, is there? I honestly don't know what's considered stuck shed or not, but I'll work on it as much as I can while I wait for the bulbs to come in. Again, thank you so very much for everything!!!

Most seems seam fine but get her out of that enclosure. They need 4x2x2.

is the only insect are feeding superworms.

Thank you for the advice as well!!! I appreciate it extremely and yea, I don't feed her superworms constantly because I know too much can be bad. I have fed her crickets before, but is it bad that I feed her only superworms on occasions? Again I don't feed her a lot of superworms constantly, but if there's any input on that I would like to hear!!!

Thank you for the advice on the bulbs!!! I'm already trying to get a specific pair, but if I ever need to get backups or these in particular, I appreciate you recommending them to me!!! Also thank you so very much on the advice while she's brumating!!! I have always been afraid of bothering her or interrupt that sort of cycle, but it really reassures me that I can encourage her to bask or bath her!!! Really it makes me so happy, thank you so very much for your advice!!!

I would feed Dubai roche sor crickets as your staple insect becauss your dragon is an adult superworms are fine but they are not very health.
