Any ideas what’s going on with her eyes? Both eyes are watering, left one is def worse tho. How can I treat the pain? She looks sad in the first pic :(

My gut says it could be the new UVB bulb that I got her but I might be overthinking it.

What kind of UVB? Coil or long tube fixture? What have you been using for a UVB brand and bulb and did it start after you changed bulbs? There is shed around the eye but I havent seen shed cause eye watering- what kind of substrate are you using?

Bulb is a new brand for me, that’s why I’m so suspicious of it.

Substrate is tile, I deep cleaned her tank a couple weeks ago.

She spends most of the day outside of her tank, so I built her a basking “pergola” so she can get her UVB & temps while she looks out the window. I know it’s not the best for humidity but her tank is in the kitchen and she will bang on the plexiglass until we take her out lol.

Her UV setup in her tank is non-optimal (2 feet from bulb thru screen) so she’s definitely more exposed to UVB under the pergola. I broke the bulb that came with the shroud and a day after I’ve switched it out to the LUCKYHERP one she’s having issues. Anyhow I don’t want to write off something more serious hence why I’m posting.

please get rid of the Lucky Herp bulb and replace w/ either a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 or a Arcadia Desert 12% bulb those are good quality bulbs - if the UVB rays are being screened thru a screen or window she is not getting enough UVB - direct rays are best but also shade should be allowed as well - I like the idea of pergola - distance w/ out blockage for UVB should be 12-15 inches in the tank --
