Hello! I noticed today that my beardie has this weird patch on the bottom of his hand. I really don’t want to jump to conclusions but I want to be sure that it’s not yellow fungus or some sort of scale rot. Please let me know in the comments what you think this is, if it is something to be concerned about, and what I should to about it.

Ok so lets go over substrate-- any type of coarse like brick etc - any heat rocks? Could be possible shed but I want to rule this other stuff out first -

he does not have coarse substance, he usually hangs out on his mini plush dog bed where his light is and that’s all very soft. The last time he fully shed was awhile ago, is it possible for random parts of beardies bodies to shed spontaneously? He usually sheds all his skin within the same 2 weeks. Maybe this is the beginning of a shed cycle?

Yes it is common for them to shed different spots- the foot looked odd for shed - that is why I asked about the other things- just watch it and see what it does- what else is in the tank for substrate
