Thinking when I get a bearded dragon I will get him some wax worms. I have a few question about them:
Where do you buy them?
Can you start your own batch?
What is needed to keep them alive till eaten?

Wax worms are okay to feed as a treat only. They are very high in fat so you only want to give a few a week. You can buy them at the pet store. They are stored in the refrigerator nothing special is needed to keep them alive.

Thank you for that info. I called Petsmart and they have them.

I've found that they do best when they are about 45-60F if they are too cold they die and if they are hot they die off faster. I get mine at the pet stores and also walmart (but we live next to lots of water and they are used as bait alot here)...
