Water??

When I first joined here it was disagreed that a beardie have a bowl of water in it's tank and now I see that people are putting in water for their babies. I witnessed a baby beardie with water dish in tank drink at pet smart yesterday.Never thought they would drink from a dish. What do you all think??river-7

None of mine have dishes just give them a bath 2 to 3 time's a week and there golden

Some will some wont. If they will and your humidity stays low than go for it but if they wont drink it than why have it in there is my thought

Yeh sum will some wnt Diego dnt drink out of his dish unless I play in the water with my fingers n when he sees it move he will drink out of it but he wnt unaided

Mine never used to drink out of a bowl. I put one in Dexter's tank because she started to drink her bath water, lots of it. My house has been very dry this winter and she doesn't eat a lot of salad. I don't always put one in her tank though. She has a "tell" to let me know when she wants water and then I can just go get her some.

Thank you all soo much-I usually bath her every couple of days and also give her water with a dropper-if she wants it she takes it and if not ok too.But she started drinking her bath water and I thought I would ask what you all do. Thanks again-river-7

Isabelle does that to me too even though she has water in her tank she prefers us to drop it on her nose. Pampered madam. Haha. Xxc

Yeh i dnt think they get its water if its still Diego only drinks out the bowl if i play in it with my fingers

Allie will drink from her bath water too and has plenty of greens with a good spritzing of water when she's healthy and eating on her own. Now, I've been supplementing her water with droppers and she's drinking water from her bath now.
