Water bowl

My Bud likes getting in his water bowl and just lays. Yesterday the humidity on his cool side went up. I immediately took out his water bowl and turn on an extra basking light. It went back to normal. Question is if I put his water bowl back in does it hurt to have two basking lights on? One I use is 100 watt and the second one is 75.

I would rather not put the water bowl back in, most dragons can't see still water and won't drink out of it. I give mine a bath every few days and between that and her food she gets all the hydration she needs.

When mine was smaller he also liked to lounge in his water dish. I thought it was cute, like a little beardie pool, but he spent a lot of time in there and I learned that it isn't good for them to soak so long, or have the high humidity. I would take it out. You can give him baths instead!

That's funny I think it's a baby thing lol Izzy would fall asleep in her water dish and before I would go to bed I would make sure she was good and she would like to sleep bottom half in the water top half up the side of the glass lol
After learning about humidity and water drinking I opted out of keeping water in either of mine.. I give slurries once a week that is packed full of supplements as well.. and when they get their baths 1-2 times a week my male will drink on his own and my female will take water from a syringe..
