Oh my word. Just got back from the Walmart in our area. We are close to Reading so we get a lot of the inner city shoppers. Some of these people are beyond words. They will get a bag of chicken, eat half of it ane leave the bag lay where ever without paying for it. And they will do that with just about anything they feel like eating. It really disgust me. The bathrooms are filthy and they used to write on everything until they came up with the stainless steel walls. Now they are just smeared with stuff! Today was a rough day for me and this afternoon I ached in all my joints but I needed to get some stuff for the trip and house before I left so I could get everything in one spot if I went to Walmart. They are remodeling(the place is absolutely filthy) Finally found everything I came for. I am totally irritated by this point because of the atmosphere and disorder and filthy and crummy people. I go to self check out because I don't think I can be nice to the cashier. Every item I scan it says I need to see cashier. Or it is underweight so after a few of those she has to come and check why I am pressing "I'm not bagging" so often. Finally get out to my van and I cannot wait to get out of that place. As I am approaching my van a kid is there (crummy looking, of course) pushing carts He looks me up and down and says "need some help with that SWEETHEART" I just looked at him. And then said "No thank YOU"!! And then he looks at me in a flirty way and says "ARE YOU SURE"? I'm like...." YEA I'M SURE. YOU WEIRDO!!! GET AWAY FROM ME" ( I didn't actually say that!! But I would have if I wasn't in such a hurry to get away from his pimply face!! I go around to the door farthest away from him. Pick up my bag of kitty litter and discover it has a rip in the corner and i spill kitty litter all over the van I spent 2 hours cleaning and shampooing the carpets!! Gave Mike an earful when I got home!! Good thing he is patient. And even offered to smack the kid who called me SWEETHEART!!! I keep saying I'm never going back there. Maybe I mean it this time!! What a time I had!!

Oh Vesta, sounds like you had a rotten day today. I was at our super walmart getting a few items I needed to make potato salad and thought I was never getting out of the store. Ours is clean and tidy but they never have enough cashiers working. I think I spent more time at the checkout then shopping. BTW, we don't have self checkouts here or I would have used those.

Here's something for you to laugh at. I went to Lone Pine Farms which is an hour away to buy fresh raspberries and cauliflower. I paid for the stuff and park the cart next to the Jeep and open my door and went to get the flat of raspberries, guess what happened? The whole flat did a 90 degree tip and all my raspberries dumped out in the parking lot. Yep, the cashiers seen it happen and laughed at me. OMG, my hands were covered in red goo and I was so embarassed. I was about ready to burst into tears when someone came out and gave me another flat and said she would clean it up. Apparently, the cashiers that laughed made her mad and she felt sorry for me. I can't believe they laughed at me. I think my left wrist gave out or something because it happened so fast.

Oh my word Sandy!! It's stuff like that, that when it happens I want to throw a king size fit!!!I can remember a time when it seemed like every time I did something, something stupid would happen. And the one time I just turned to Sarah really upset and said. Now!! Why did that have to happen. She looked at me and in mock sadness says "WHY? OH WHY? OH WHY"? :'( She said it in such a way I just burst out laughing!! So now when that kind of crap happens and I feel sorry for myself or start to complain we just do the "WHY? OH WHY? thing and it makes us laugh. I know...maybe it's me but I think some of these little twirps that work in these stores need a good boot in the pants!!! To laugh would have been the wrong thing to do in front of me with the mood I was in!! Good thing someone came to your rescue. God bless her for that bit of kindness when you needed it the most!!

I don't know if I'm doing too much or if it's the extra pounds I put on but I hurt these days. Usually I can pop a few Tylenol and go on my merry way. My hands and just above my wrist, tops of my feet , shoulders, and that muscle across my back hurt. Now...I work really hard and move things that I probably shouldn't but I have always done that and there's really nothing different. If anything I am slowing down these days!! I also don't sleep alot. I don't really need too. I don't want to go to the Dr because he's going to yell at me for going off my Cholesterol medicine and ask me how it is that I have put on almost 30 pounds in 2 years.Keep hoping I can take it off before I have to.

Anyway I feel better for the vent and once we are packed I'll really feel better. Enjoy your raspberries. Schelly has several bushes in her yard she planted and it is such a joy to go there and pick them and pop them in my mouth right off the bush. They are almost done here now.

We had such a late spring that everything is late. I mean it's only been a week or so that we haven't had rain. It's supposed to lightly shower tomorrow and then turn off hot.

I think as we get older, we ache more. I was just complaining to Phil tonight that my bursitis in my hips were killing me.
