Hi all,
could someone tell me what vitamins and supplements are best for a baby beardie? How often to give them? And any other info that I would need to know regarding the vits and supplements, I’ve noticed there’s calcium powder and calcium d3 powder?!?!

Are calci worms the same as black soldier fly larvae? If so what size would he need?
And what types of bugs are best? How many of each daily? Um I think that’s it (for now ;))

thanks guys
Amy

Whats best is subjective, everyone uses different vitamins, and at different times and amounts , these are what im using, its recommended for calcium it be every other feeding (or three times a week) vitamins should be once every 3 days or once a week for liquid vitamins, you dont want to over load them is all, (thats why its good to have a couple days as a break) I believe calci worms are bsfl, id order the large (even these are small)
Best bugs in my opinion are #1 roaches #2 hornworms #3 bsfl #4 super worms #5meal worms #6 crickets. Id buy 1/4 of an inch roaches for a baby dragon , he can eat probably 4-7 a day.

Thank you so much for this, managed to get most of it except the zoo med electrolyte soak, it’s £107 on Amazon  however I got the eco terra version.

is your beardie a translucent?
This is the little guy I have coming next week, he’s a hypo trans genetic stripe male (whatever that means lol)

Yea the electrolyte soak was expensive :/ i will say ive only used it 3 times now and ive noticed my girls scales getting nicer and looking overall in better shape, idk what my beardie is, she was labeled “fancy dragon” when I got her, I know shes a “pastel” “hypo” and orange/pink/peach obviously, idk a whole lot about genes tbh, hypo is short for hypo melinistic, trans is for translucent scales, and the genetic stripe means his daddy and mommy both had that stripe going down their backs, which means he’ll pass it on too
