So I have only had my beardie since Sunday. He is still quite small. He is 4-4 1/2 inches with out tail. With tail he might me 9 inches or so? Anyways I decided to try veggies today. I heard that sometimes its hard to get them to like it but he took them out of my hands!! He ate collard greens and kale and he LOVED it!!! I was so worried he wouldnt but not problems there. :) I put the bowl in and then I came back a few minutes later to this....

I have honestly been very lucky and blessed. This is my first reptile of any kind (if you dont count the beardie I tried to rescue that died) and he is so easy going and laid back. He loves attention, crickets, veggies and baths.

I know. My eyes seriously almost teared up. I was so shocked and excited! I have read tons of stories about dragons not eating greens.

Mine jumped on her greens when she first came here. After a while, she became a lounge lizard. I have to set her in front of her greens and give her 'permission' to eat and she'll look at her greens, then to me, and then her greens as if thanking me. I tell her to have a good breakfast and then dinner. :)
