I know there are a bunch of fruits and veggies beardies can eat but which ones have the BEST nutritional value that i can feed Alex regularly.

Collard Greens and Dandelion Leaves are really good because they contain a lot of vitamins plus needed calcium. I also give mine summer squash, carrots and blueberries.

Fruits are & should only be treats ... Dark leafy greens are generally what you should look for. Ron offered a couple of the better choices.

Here is a very good nutrition list that you can check out to see what is hi-lited in green & what is available in your area.

Most of the bigger supermarkets will carry them. The Wegmans near us usually carries them. You can usually get a nice big bunch for only a couple of bucks.

My BD loves sweet potato and blueberries. It's the only things he will eat nowadays, but greens like suggested above are the best. If you have a picky eater though, try sweet potato, cactus, bell peppers, or squash.

Ok i know all beardies are different, but which greens do they seem to like most. Alex hates kale and will every once in a while eat collard greens. So he doesnt like either. He loves carrots but i read that you shouldnt feed beardies alot of that

Like Germ said, BeautifulDragons.com has a good chart, I use it. I have actually printed it off and posted it in my kitchen for when I prep Aries' food, I can see and mark what he likes and what is available to try. It has more than just veggies and fruits too. It's color coded too!

Mine will eat collard greens on occasion, but she really loves acorn squash! It's a bit of a pain to prepare, but its worth it because she eats it almost every day, and she is a huge insect-junkie. It's like $1.59 a pound here. I bought one that was just a little over a pound and it will last two weeks. Just keep the leftovers in the freezer. You will probably have enough to offer to your feeders, as well. Roaches, crickets, and superworms seem to love it too.
