UVB Wattage

I have a 50 gallon tank, I'm wondering if I need a a higher wattage UVB bulb? The highest I could find is 26W, I was told that I need a 50W. The picture I attached is the one I have right now.

Same question. I have a 40 gallon tank and that is the bulb I'm using. I have his light set up beneath his screen so it's lower with no filtration happening. Not sure if he's getting enough uv.?.? I do take him out and let him bask in sun spots for a bit each day, too.
