UVB lighting

I have a tank it’s 36z18x18” and I have an old uvb and think I need a replacement. The uvb is 18 inches long and a t8 10.0 do I need a longer light? Or any recommendations

You have good distance for the T 8 however the bulb should be changed out every 6 months I recommend 5 -- no cover on the uvb fixture the bulb needs to be unobstructed- I would stay w/ the 18" being your tank is only 36"- if you go to a 4x2x2 tank which I recommend them I would go to a 24" fixture

Reptisun 10.0 T 8 also a 4x2x2 tank would need the T 5 bulb and different fixture
