I have a new dragon and she is in a 30 gallon right now…24x24x12. I have a UVB lighting question. Currently using a zilla T8 18” fixture with desert 50 bulb. (Her basking spot is about 7”-8” from the light). I also have a 12” zoo med fixture with a reptisun 5.0 that i am not using. Should I / can I use both? Or is that too much? Not necessary? Thank you! By the way, she just woke up. . .humidity will get down to low 30's soon.

Im a little confused, you have two ? Long tubular uvbs? , a t8 and a ?? Id stick with two bulbs for now, one for heat and one for the uvb… ur dragon needs dark areas to hide underneath if they so choose..

I have a 24” t5 10.0 uvb fixture, and a 100 wattage heat bulb in my enclosure. My enclosure is a 2x2x4

Thanks for your response! I have 2 lights that I am actively using, the T8 UVB and 75 W heat bulb. My questions is that I have another 12” zoo med fixture with a reptisun 5.0 UVB and was wondering if I should use that as well? or is that overkill? Thanks.

Please use the Reptisun bulb and fixture --- its a way better bulb and you only want one UVB --- distance is correct w/ NO screen or fixture over the bulb -- bulb needs to be exposed and directly over the basking decor piece

The T 5 is not going to work in the Zilla fixture - I thought you had two fixtures- you will need the T 8 Reptisun for that Zilla fixture
