The Arcadia 12% 24 inch bulb is probably the best choice. It covers the enclosure perfectly (2/3 of the length), and it provides enough UVB output without much risk of overexposure.

The reason why I am asking is because I currently use the 12% 24inch and he’s been hiding for a while I thought it hcould be due to overexposure

Unless your distance is too close there is something else going on --- how old is he? ?And what distance do you have it at?
