UVB fixture

Sorry everyone for the spam of posts lately but everyone on here is so helpful! I just got my reptisun in the mail and of course it was broken ugh. But while I was placing my next order for the actual fixture, a lot of options came up for a fixture T8. My lamp is a T5. Would a T8 fixture work with a T5 bulb?
Also here is a picture of my broken lamp, thought I would share my frustration haha

You need the T5 for a T5. T8 for a T8

I believe the T8s are more equipped for a fish aquarium. not really any sort of reptile or lizard.

Im not an xpert on lights but im pretty shure t8-t5 are different size diameter bulbs? I wouldn’t intermingle bulbs an fixtures anyways, thats a bummer it came broke i always try to have 2-4 extra bulbs on hand for situations like that. If you cant get a bulb right away try and give ur guy atleast an hour of regular sunshine

No ---- T 8's are a fatter bulb -- T 5's are skinnier --

Oh I know what you mean. Like 30 dollars for a uvb light come on
