Athena has laid 5 eggs so far. She has not used the laybox at all. She lays them right on the slate tile in the viv.

She has been eating (wowza, is she a piglet!) every day, greens, plus protein (waxworms, superworms, dubias) plus calcium. Today was her multivitamin day, so she had calcium and multivitamin. She is very active, does not appear to be in any pain, and her abdomen doesn't look puffy anymore. The previous owner says she usually lays 7-16 eggs, and we're at 5 so I am not certain she needs to see the vet or not. It's cold in Oregon right now and I'd rather not stress her with the trip if I don't need to. She had a bit of pinkish urate yesterday, but so far I think she is probably ok.

Thoughts?

Are you still bathing her, frequently? Were those urates hard as well with that pinkish tinge ?
Oh... Hold off on the cal the days you supplement with the vitamins... ;)
Other than that... I can't wait for her to finish up ! lol...

Sorry I didn't answer sooner... crazy busy here ;D Yes, she is still getting baths. The urates were like they normally are, not hard but not runny or liquid. She's laid about 10 eggs so far - none inside the laybox, but she digs and digs in that thing like crazy. She's still eating great, two salads a day plus protein and calcium - mostly roaches and superworms but also some wax worms (which she loves). She's pooping regularly as well, and we only saw that one pinkish urate... the rest have all been bright white. I think she's coming through this like a champ - no signs of pain, lethargy, etc. She's her usual feisty and rambunctious self! :D
