Title says it all basically, 10 months old, female, forty gallon. She always wants to just sit under her uvb light, barely wanting to go under the heat lamp, still eats and poops, just never really basks or does anything, just sits always. In that spot.

Also should she be growing anymore? I haven't seen any growth or a shed in two months. She's at 17 inchs right now.

What are her temps? Basking and cool side? Do you keep track of her weight and her length?

Dexter went through a phase like this probably started around that time. All she wanted to do was sit in her hammock all day long. I thought maybe brummation but when I took her out for baths she perked right up and wanted to play. When I took her out of her tank and put her on the floor she would wander around. I even went as far as to leave her lights off one day, thinking she wanted to sleep but NOPE! She pooped, she ate. She never shed, she gradually gained weight but never got any longer. This went on for a long time and then about 5 months ago (she was maybe 19 months) she started to shed again, she's got that extra inch in length. I think she may have hit her max weight, she fluctuates around the 1 LB .5oz mark. We had to get rid of the hammock and get her a xtra large ledge that would hold her weight. She still likes to sit in that spot but she also wanders around a bit more.

Her basking temps are about 105F ish. Everything is set up well. Maybe it's just a phase, would know be a good time to offer protein every other day with fresh vegtables in between? I was thinking 25 super worms, then vegtables, and back to back like that

I don't believe in cutting out or limiting their food and what kinds. I feed each a salad every day and I offer live food to them every day. They will close their eyes or turn their head up if they don't want the live food but I let them decide. Dexter is the 2 year old and she can eat 8 worms one day and then the next day not want any and the next day only want one.

Usually they stop themselves around that number. Sometimes tha may eat more but a lot of times it's just 8. I feed them both the large supers.
