Hey everyone :) I posted this on my intro post too but thought it worth asking here too. I am hopefully getting a beardy soon and was wondering if it was possible to travel by train with them. I know some don't mind car travel etc, but I was wondering about trains. If so what sort of stuff would I need to do it?

How long is the trip? Do have a set up at your destination? You might need to check with the train go to determine if pets (specifically reptiles) are allowed

do you have a set up at your destination? i have taken both of my beardies (separately) to the stables where i board my horses - on a nice warm summer day. i drive about 1/2 hour, stay for a few hours, then home. i have a carrier they travel in. i know some people let them loose in their car - i consider that fairly reckless on the highway. when i get off road i let them sit on the dash - within arms reach. i also have harnesses for them - even though they are on my shoulder, i would hate to have them fall off (or get bumped off) and stepped on by another human or horse or played with by one of the many dogs. I also know folks take their beardies "out to market" - i am not sure i would do that. there are lots of "bugs" they can pick up - from who knows where. i would hate to think i was responsible for an illness because i wanted them with me. just something to consider. the carrier i got was actually designed for cats / small dogs.

Yeah I would make sure to have a setup both sides. Would it be wise to have some kind of heat source while travelling? Especially for warmer times? Or would body heat work if it came down to it? Sorry for all the questions I just want to be prepared

A heat source wouldnt be necessary for warmer times. Colder times - maybe. body heat is ok. hot water bottle ok. hand warmers used for camping are good (wrap them so your guy doesnt burn himself)
