Yes her very first time other than when we got her. She did really good, was looking around at everything taking it all in. The girls there couldn't believe how much she had grown and really loved getting to see her.

Awwww Spyra is growing up! Brings a tear to my eye. They grow so fast. She had her first shopping trip. Awwww I'm happy to hear she did good. That's great! You've got such a sweet girl. Wow I'm shocked to hear the same girls are still working there, that's cool. All the girls that were there when I got Wally are gone.

They really do grow up so quick
I wish I would've taken more baby picture of her looking back. The girls that work in the reptile section at our local shop are amazing. One girl has had beardies for years so she has been really helpful to us from the beginning. Thanks to her we didn't purchase a lot of crap before we knew what we were doing. She also plays with all of the animals while she cleans the cages every time she works. So thanks to her Spyra had already had lots of human interaction before we got her. Those chicks are the best thing that store has going for them.

I couldn't agree more. Big franchises like that should only hire educated people that truly care about the animals like that. And maybe bump up the pay scale to keep them around.

I totally agree! If they would educate them in different areas, I know you can't educate everyone in every department but dang you can give them some education so it appears they know something about their job! Yes that would be great if they would offer more pay. More incentive to stay and possibly make a career out of it. I love animals so much I could have seen myself working at a place like that when I was your age! A million years ago when we had real dinosaurs walking around.
