Too small but still tried

I saw this hut in the bird section of the pet store. Thought it would be great for Precious to snuggle into at night. I knew it would be tight quarters for her but I still thought she'd be able to fit in it.She was immediately interested in it but couldn't get in all the way. When I tried pulling it away from her, she was grabbing for it! But I finally gave it to my baby skink who went right in and took it over!
I've bought several things I thought they might like but they weren't interested in, so I was surprised both liked this. Found a larger size online so I'll have to order that for Precious eventually.

Tequila says "Ha ha, mine now!"

Precious must be very upset now to see Tequila trying to steal another thing that belongs to her, first your son now this!

Does it make any noise? I bought a fuzzy ferret tube for Luci and Dexter. I figured since they liked to sleep on my blankets and my sweaters that this should feel like them but it makes a crinkle noise and they don't like it.

No it doesn't make noise. We showed Precious an old crinkle cat sack that the cats never liked. As soon as it made noise Precious's eyes almost popped out of her head and she got away from it quickly, so we know to stay away from things like that lol.

I know Precious likes that kind of material but she doesn't like going into anything confined. So I figured she'd either really love it or hate it. On the other hand, I didn't think Tequila would like it for being too open for her since she's much smaller. Precious does not know Tequila has it now!!

Andy, Tequila is adorable. My son fell in love with her at a show so we took her home. I warned him that I think we lucked out with Precious's personality and I seriously doubt he's going to find another lizard, or any other pet, like her. They share a really cute bond, he and Precious just connected right away. Sure enough, Precious is definitely daddy's number #1, I think he had even gotten more of an appreciation for Precious after Tequila. He's nervous with Tequila because she has a meaner looking face and hissed at him when we first got her. So Tequila is kind of my baby now and I work with her more, she's more comfortable and acts cuter with me than with him. She's not Precious but I think she's wonderful and I'm looking forward to when she gets older and is more comfortable with us.

awww well, Skinks are their own personality types. Not everyone will love them. But I had a Fire Skink named Mushu that me and my boyfriend adored. The cutest, sweetest little thing. And he brought joy to anyone that saw the little bugger. Every since having him, I've wanted a Blue tongue. I think if anything, the hissing and picking favorites just makes you love them even more
