So I took Puff out today to have some running fun! Though sadly I saw that his left hand middle finger toenail was twisted/turned. Guessing it happened due to having a flat surface? I use newspaper instead of sand as I read that sometimes they would eat the sand and mess up their digestive system. I know its not normal, though what should I do? I don't want to cut it, to scared to cause any pain to her?

I think the nail looks okay. As long as he's not limping or in pain he is fine. It actually looks like at some point the nail broke and it grew back. Mine have lost/broke a few nails and when they grow back they grow back looking a little thicker than the rest.
